About the event
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
How do we create safe communities? How can we support our community during difficult times?
Please join the Upstate Regional Council of the SC Immigrant Victim Coalition in a conversation about support for survivors and victims of domestic violence. We know culture, immigration status, language barriers and other factors impact people’s ability to get help. Be a part of the dialogue as we learn from each other about how to better support survivors.
The SCIVC is a network of professionals, advocates, law enforcement, attorneys, health care providers and community leaders dedicated to ensuring access to services and justice for immigrants. Our meetings are always free to attend and open to all. We welcome all to our table!
