About the event
At this meeting we will be joined by Dr. Rajeev Bais, Dr. Julie Linton, and Natalie Terlitsky who will discuss their experiences working with different immigrant communities in their respective fields. To learn more about them, please see information below!
Dr. Rajeev Bais currently serves as Director of the Carolina Survivor Clinic, which provides comprehensive care to refugees who are survivors of torture.
Julie M. Linton, MD, FAAP, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Greenville and the Medical Director of the PASOs Greenville with Prisma Health-Upstate. Nationally, Dr. Linton serves on the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Community Pediatrics Executive Committee and co-chairs the AAP Immigrant Health Special Interest Group.
Natalie Terlitsky serves as the Volunteer & Church Mobilization Specialist for World Relief Upstate. She recruits and equips volunteers and churches to welcome refugees who have fled their home countries out of fear of persecution.
