About the event
The Coastal Council of the SC Immigrant Victim Coalition will be hosting its first in-person meeting since the start of the pandemic on November 17, 2022 from 9 AM - 11 AM.
During this meeting, we will have the opportunity to reconnect with one another and learn about the exciting work everyone is doing to support immigrant survivors in the Lowcountry. Our discussion leaders will include Mary Goff, the new Migrant Outreach Attorney at SC Legal Services; Anne Ross, the Human Trafficking Attorney with Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services, and Julia Poppell the chair of the new Refugee/Foreign National Victim Subcommittee of the TriCounty Human Trafficking Taskforce.
If you have an update to share with the group, please email pravenhorst@sccadvasa.org to be added to the agenda.
The SC Immigrant Victim Coalition was founded in 2009 to serve as a statewide network of professionals, victim advocates, law enforcement, attorneys, health care providers and immigrant community leaders dedicated to ensuring access to services and justice for immigrants. Our meetings are always free to attend and open to the community. We welcome all to our table!
